This is the third in the Southern series. I recorded this one in 1987 on a Fostex 8 channel, analog machine.

During this time, interest in The War was on the rise and I was "sitting on" a lot of great music I wanted to record and share with the historical community. As with all my volumes, I played all the instruments, sang all the vocals, drew the cover, did the liner notes by hand, and recorded in my home studio – hence the "Homespun" in the title.
